Writing "html" and css for deviantArt journals is a fair bit different than writing up a webpage...lots of restrictions that require some rather creative (and sometimes excessive) coding. Something simple to start out with while I work on a nicer, smoother look. I wonder if I can use svg on here...? Please do critique the layout and let me know if anything is broken (along with your OS/browser/screen resolution), and feel free to rate it's ugliness factor.
I'd like to start a themed feature. If you suggest themes, I'll take a poll on which theme to use and organize a feature of that theme. I think I'll start with at least two weeks on each theme (possibly longer depending on my time), and restrict it to deviations with less than 100

. While the first theme is being figured out, I'll be featuring my own favourites with fewer than 100

.
Just for fun:
If you want to play, I'll give you a letter and you can list in your own journal 10 things you like that start with that letter.

mynameisjade gave me B:

Wherever there are sounds of Australian music permeating the air, this creature will be there. Wherever there is a mountainous pile of CDs from Australian artists, this creature will be there. Wherever awesome kebabs are sold, this creature will be there.
